For decades I’ve noticed the condition of my teeth and gums is a predictor of my health. When the gums recede a bit it lets me know I’m under stress in one form or another. Usually, I turn things around quickly by choosing better habits as soon as I notice gum irritation or pain. Maybe that is why I haven’t had a cold or flu for over seven years.
Regardless, as more years go by I’ve noticed I have to turn to better habits even sooner. In early 2015 I discovered a habit that is supporting my dental health and I’d like to share it with you.
For the first 21 days of 2015 I was on the Master Cleanse which is also known as the Lemonade Diet. When my gums started to scream out with pain, I knew the lemon had been eating away at my teeth and gums. I talked to friends and learned about holistic dentistry.
